By Allysen Lovstuen Respondus Lockdown Browser
Please comment below and myself, Zach Fromm or Shannon Quandahl will help anyone who is interested in utilizing the LockDown Browser. Whether you know exactly how you want to use this and want some in person help, want to talk about some out-of-the-box ideas you might want to try, or want to come into my classroom to see it in use- we are here to help. Here are many helpful videos providing an overview and directions on how to prepare a Canvas quiz for use in LockDown Browser. Currently, Read&Write Google (RWG) is not available in the LockDown Browser. There is a way to allow students to have access to an online dictionary or language translation. Additionally, the Voiceover Accessibility Feature can be accessed while in the LockDown Browser. Please ask myself or Shannon Quandahl for help with these additional resources.
For those students who use RWG, a teacher could set up a quiz to be available to individual students outside of the LockDown Browser and require the LockDown Browser for everyone else. This may make it easier to manage security issues in a classroom setting.
